Here are some MUST-HAVES from your event!

Ask each of your speakers / vip’s

Ask at least 3 excitable attendees the following questions

  1. What is your name?

  2. What do you hope the people attending will get from this event?

  3. Why is this event important to you, personally?

  4. What would the world be missing without this event?

  5. What is the biggest misconception people have about (event, person, topic, etc).

  6. What would you want to say to the people watching from home?

  1. What is your name?

  2. Why are you here?

  3. Who/What are you most looking forward to?

  4. What makes this event special to you, personally?

 

Pro Tip 1
Have them repeat the question in their answer. For example, “what is your name?” have them say, “My name is,” because then the editor can tell the story without the need for a narrator which can save you money in scripting, hiring a narrator, and more editing and audio time.

Pro Tip 2
Ask good followup questions. What makes a good follow up question? A question that clarifies or challenges something they’ve already said that piqued your interest. Chances are if it piques your interest, it’ll pique the audience’s interest. This is often where the best moments in a video come from.
